Cintia Mari Hayashi is 38 years old and has been working at the São Paulo Convention & Visitor Bureau since 2012, where she joined as a trainee and is currently the International Events Director, responsible for developing strategies for prospecting events and international market relations. With 18 years of experience in the hospitality, marketing and tourism areas, a highlight in her career is living and working with hospitality and tourism in Japan for 5 years, in addition to achieving the international certification CEM - Certified in Exhibition Management, issued by the IAEE - International Association of Exhibitions and Events, and the Certification of the ICCA Forum for Young Professionals, concluded in Spain, and issued by ICCA - International Congress and Convention Association, and finally, in 2022, assumes the vice presidency of the Latin American & Caribbean chapter of ICCA. During the pandemic, she worked as a volunteer at “Love for SUS Project”, where she and 600 more volunteers produced and distributed more than 400,000 Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and face shield protection mask to all hospitals in Brazil, diversifying her experiences and emphasizing her personal values and social responsibility.
