We are pleased to announce that the ICCA 60th General Assembly (Digital) will take place on Monday, 11 October 2021 from 13:00 to 14:30 CET, the link will be provided in the coming weeks. Due to the CoViD-19 pandemic this year’s General Assembly (GA) will be again digital. The digital format will enable ICCA to connect all members globally during the GA.
Members who wish to attend the GA physically at the ICCA HO Amsterdam are required to let ICCA know of their attendance two weeks in advance. Please send a mail to email@example.com before Monday, 27 September 2021 in order to confirm your physical attendance.
All GA votes, for both regular GA items and candidates to the ICCA Board of Directors (BoD), will be cast on a secure website. The voting will open no earlier than 30 days prior to the GA and no later than 5 days prior, and will remain open until at least the first 15 minutes of the actual GA (timing for closure to be announced at the start of the GA). All members will be able to vote on items and for candidates at any time during this period, including at the commencement of the actual GA.
The agenda and all necessary documentation will be made available no later than 14 days in advance of the GA, as directed by the Articles of Associations & By-Laws.
ICCA Board of Directors Elections
As previously communicated, ICCA BoD Elections will be held for the following regions and sectors:
- Destination Marketing (1 vacancy)
- Meeting Support (1 vacancy)
- Middle East (1 vacancy)
- North America (1 vacancy)
- Latin America (1 vacancy)
The result of the calls for candidates will be communicated later this week to all members.
The call for elections will be sent out to the sector and/or region which will be holding elections, no later than Tuesday, 14 September 2021. During that time all members will be able to vote for their sector via electronic ballot. Voting by proxy is prohibited. Every member is entitled to one vote in General Assembly voting, irrespective of whether they physically attend or not. The online voting will remain open for at least the first 15 minutes of the General Assembly, and votes may be cast by non-attending members as well as those physically present at the ICCA HO Amsterdam. The exact timing of the closure of the vote will be announced at the start of the General Assembly. Votes cast after the deadline will not count.
