Dreamforce, the legendary Salesforce user conference, drew more than 172,000 registered participants to its headquarters city in September (plus some 11 million online viewers). “We took over San Francisco, including a cruise ship we christened the Dreamboat,” says Elizabeth Pinkham, who leads the planning for Dreamforce, the largest technology user conference in the world.
Pinkham, Salesforce’s senior vice president, strategic events & executive briefing centers, recently discussed this huge undertaking at Lanyon Live, a user conference for clients of cloud-based meeting software provider Lanyon.
