What do event organisers most crave from their meeting or conference?
I’d be willing to wager that attendee engagement features heavily in anyone’s top three- after all an engaged audience is far more likely to be receptive to key messages and ideas.
And that’s what event apps seem to promise, through all manner of gamification and interactive features. But do these bells and whistles run the risk of distracting delegates and detracting from that key message?
