Those of us who have the great fortune of working in the travel industry know the value of face-to-face meetings: creating personal connections, driving positive business outcomes, and building strong communities.
While these outcomes have always been true, the Great Recession and recent public and government scrutiny of our industry has put more responsibility on us to be transparent and forthcoming with how meetings are essential in moving business forward.
