Verified Association Contacts
Some 400+ association executives do not need an explanation on what ICCA is and does, which makes the contact between you and the association a lot easier.
What are Verified Association Contacts?
A Verified Association Contact is an individual working for an association mentioned in the ICCA Association Database who has access to the ICCA portal and checks their association- and meetings profile on a regular basis. Through access to the ICCA portal, this individual can also check who is an ICCA member, sign up for an ICCA event (as a delegate and/or as a speaker), ask ICCA to check their RFP, and read our articles and white papers on the meetings industry. Plus they can get in touch with other associations to ask what their experiences were with a certain destination or supplier, before getting into business with them.
Where can you find these Verified Association Contacts?
Once you have made a search in the ICCA Association Database, either for potential or confirmed meetings, you can tick the box ‘Verified Association Contacts’ and you will end up with a list of meetings with such a contact attached. There could even be more than one in an organization!
If you search without ticking this box, there may be leads with a Verified Association Contact in your result list. These are marked with a blue dot.
How can an association executive become a Verified Association Contact?
This person can click on ‘Join the community’ on our website. Then send an email to our Director Association Relations, who will, in turn, check if their association is already in our database or if they qualify to be admitted into our database. If the answer is yes, the person receives a temporary log in and password to the ICCA portal, which can then instantly be changed into their own.
Would you like more Verified Association Contacts?
Currently there are some 400+ of these contacts in our database. You can help increase this number by making association executives you work with aware of this useful knowledge source. If they update their profile regularly and provide us with information, they will receive better bids and not waste time on badly prepared ones.
