Nature of sponsorship is radically changing, says group

INCON report finds traditional sponsorship deals are being replaced by direct meetings with key figures.
Traditional sponsorship and exhibition packages are being replaced by opportunities to meet influential figures, according to a new report on sponsorship.
"Where historically, brand positioning, logo placement and the traditional ‘mineral’ (gold, silver, bronze) packages were meeting sponsor needs, these are being superseded by opportunities to have face time with influencers and decision-makers in personalised environments," read the findings by an international group of INCON partners.
