MeetingMatch, a new mobile app aimed exclusively at helping meeting participants network before, during, and after an event, launched earlier this year.
The San Diego-based startup differentiates the app from other event mobile apps because it allows pre-registered attendees to download their LinkedIn profiles when registering, skipping the sometimes tedious steps needed to enter new profile information when logging on for the first time to an event app. It is intended to complement, and have a longer lifecycle, than an event app.
