UK associations tighten purse strings as volume falls

The number events held by UK associations is declining, as budgets continue to come under pressure, new research has revealed.
Early findings from the British Meetings & Events Industry Survey indicate that the average number of events per organiser fell, while attendee numbers and average budgeted daily rates also witnessed declines.
