GBTA launches new tool to assess travel risk programmes

The GBTA Foundation—the education and research arm of the Global Business Travel Association—has released a major update to its Travel Risk Management Maturity Model self-assessment tool, known as TRM3. In addition to assessing nine travel risk categories—policies and procedures, education and training, risk assessment, risk disclosure, risk monitoring, response and recovery, notification, data management, and program communication—the new version also provides specific recommendations to help organizations improve their programs. Assessments range from Level 1, defined as “reactive,” to Level 5, which means the program is optimized and integrated throughout the organization.
