The red update button is your friend! The more you use it, the more concrete information you get. ICCA members - together with the ICCA team - are working hard to achieve a mutually beneficial situation of sharing information on the ICCA Association Database.
Keep finding ways to press it and you'll be in the running to become the next Researcher of the Month - or even Researcher of the Year!
Lyndsey Rafferty, Senior Association Manager at Convention Edinburgh has secured the coveted title this month! Here's what Lyndsey had to say:
How is the ICCA database beneficial for your work/organization?
It’s always my first port of call when researching potential conferences which might be suited for Edinburgh. The ICCA database is a one of a kind, a useful tool which provides invaluable information in our Association community
Do you have any tips for your fellow ICCA members?
The database is only useful if it’s up to date. If you are taking the time to research an event, and spot an update online which hasn’t made it to the ICCA database yet, it only takes a few minutes to update the database, which will always help your fellow database users in the future. I would encourage anyone using the database to keep an eye on it and update it when relevant.
What positive message would you like to share with ICCAWorld
It’s wonderful to see that Association events are making such a strong return after the last two years. We still have our challenges in the events industry, however, through collaboration and learning from our colleagues around the world, we have a strong community and can change the world through the work we do.
