The Association of the Future- FLC

The ICCA Future Leaders Council was launched last year, with the aim of providing a platform to extend the influence of young leaders within the ICCA Community, and make a lasting impact on our industry.

We are very pleased and proud to share with you that they have recently completed their second project, where they have taken a deeper dive into the trends and changes regarding associations, their membership models and structures, as well as engagement opportunities in order to ensure strong, valuable associations in the future.

Here's what our exceptional team of young professionals have to say about The Association of the Future, the next part of their exciting – and essential - work.

The Association of the Future

This is a must-read paper for any association or meeting supplier who wants to gain a greater understanding about the purpose of membership organisations, and how that purpose may evolve in the future, affecting both the way in which associations interact with their members, as well as the services they provide for them. Download the paper below.

On behalf of the Future Leaders Council, we would like to thank all ICCA members and associations for showing their commitment and interest by attending the virtual roundtable sessions conducted by the Future Leaders Council to gather invaluable input for their project.

Stay tuned as two further projects are due to be published before the end of their term in May next year.
