2022 ICCA Ranking

In ICCA’s annual statistics publications for the year 2021, a total number of 7,908 association meetings were represented, of which more than 90% were affected by COVID in some form or other. This prompted a change in our methodology with regards to collating our annual rankings, which resulted in the Destination Performance Index.

However, a preliminary look at the 2022 data shows that the percentage of COVID-affected meetings has decreased dramatically, resulting in an almost complete reversal of this scenario. With up to 90% of the current 2022 meetings being in-person again, we are reverting to normality. For the coming year, the ICCA Country - and City - rankings are back

In addition to the Country - and City - rankings, we will also be publishing the 2022 Destination Comparison Tool, and the ICCA Statistical Study Report, to provide a more in-depth analysis of the association meetings industry.?
