What was your motivation to join ICCA? 

Hilton Birmingham Metropole welcomes around 2,000 events from both the domestic and international markets each year and as we continue to grow our event calendar it is important that we maintain and develop relationships with organisers globally. ICCA offers us access to a global network of association meetings professionals and suppliers, as well as a hub of knowledge, education and experience. Our membership affords us new opportunities to broaden our network and work with both clients and peers to promote our city and our country as a first-class destination for events.

What can we expect to see from Hilton Birmingham Metropole in the future?

During 2023 and beyond we will continue to bring to life our extensive multi-million pound refurbishment, which we completed in 2022. The past year has been an exciting one for our region and, following the unquestionable success of the Birmingham Commonwealth Games, we are focused on building on the Birmingham brand and further reinforcing our reputation for excellence. We will continue to realise our ambitions to be diverse and inclusive and ensure our staff not only feel valued but are representative of the wider world we live in. It is an exciting time for our business and our industry and we look forward to sharing that with both our staff, our guests and our peers.
