How is the ICCA database beneficial for your work/organization?

We are aware that the ICCA database is the most effective tool that we have on disposal when it comes to research needed for the pro-active acquisition of the congresses and therefore, we should all, as much as possible, to contribute to its data update. It only takes few minutes from our time to report missing information to ICCA that could save valuable time to our fellow colleagues.

 Do you have any tips for your fellow ICCA members?

We believe that with record high number of convention bureaus and in this actual, uncertain world situation with event smaller resources on disposal only those organizations that are really contributing to the competitiveness of the destination through the active local Ambassadors can provide the local stakeholders with the concrete data and inputs and therefore remain relevant.

What positive message would you like to share with ICCAWorld?

We think about the importance of less amount of resources spent on “nice words” marketing promotion and more focus on concrete destination improvement projects in topics like legacy, sustainability, inclusiveness, so relevant nowadays.
